Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Brighton Handyman Co. By requesting a quotation or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotations

All quotations are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if additional work is required.
3. Bookings & Cancellations

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments or cancellations made at short notice.

If unforeseen circumstances arise, we may need to reschedule your appointment. We will always aim to provide as much notice as possible.
4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept bank transfer and other agreed payment methods.

Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act where applicable.
5. Materials

Materials supplied by Brighton Handyman Co will be charged separately unless included within the quotation.

Where customers supply their own materials, we cannot accept responsibility for faults, defects or delays caused by unsuitable or defective products.
6. Additional Work
Any work requested outside the original quotation will be discussed and agreed before being carried out. Additional charges may apply.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

Providing safe access to the property.

Ensuring pets are kept secure during our visit.

Informing us of any known hazards before work begins.
-
Removing valuable or fragile items from the work area where possible.
8. Electrical & Plumbing Work
Only minor electrical and plumbing works that fall within current UK regulations will be undertaken. Any work requiring specialist certification or notification may be referred to an appropriately qualified contractor.
9. Liability
Brighton Handyman Co will carry out all work with reasonable care and skill.
We are not liable for:

Hidden defects or issues that could not reasonably have been identified before work commenced.

Existing damage discovered during repairs.

Delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including severe weather or supplier delays.
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the work undertaken.
10. Guarantees
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. If you experience an issue directly related to our work, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make every reasonable effort to inspect and rectify the problem.
Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the product manufacturer.
11. Photographs
With the customer's permission, photographs of completed work may be taken and used for marketing purposes, including on our website and social media. No personal information or identifying details will be published without consent.
12. Privacy
Any personal information provided will only be used for the purpose of responding to enquiries, arranging appointments and delivering our services. We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties except where required by law.
13. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible. We are committed to resolving concerns fairly, promptly and professionally.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
